If you want to be able to drive any RIGID goods vehicle over 7500kgs GVW (7.5 tonne) then you will need to gain the Cat.C driving licence. This was formally known as a HGV Class 2 licence.

After gaining your provisional licence and passing your theory tests, candidates can go forward for training straight from a car licence.

Once passed, you will also then be in a position to go forward for the Cat. C+E (Artic)!
